Chris Watson

ONE Trainer
In 1999, Chris was introduced to the world of athletics, playing football for the North Tampa Boys & Girls Club Rams. He started his track and field career in 2000, which quickly became his favorite sport. Watson played little league football sporadically for fours years while running AAU/USA track and field every summer the remainder of his childhood and throughout college. Watson ran track for the Tampa Trailblazers (2000-2007) and The Matrix Track Club (2007-2009). Watson competed in 100m through 800m, long jump, and triple jump during his childhood track experience.
Watson went on to receive an athletic and academic scholarship to Queens University of Charlotte (Charlotte, NC) in 2009. Throughout his college track and field career, Watson was apart of an All-American Distance Medley Relay Team (2011), named Conference Carolinas โAthlete of the Weekโ (2013), and set many school records, as he was the first sprinter at the university. At Queens, he competed in 60m through 800m, 110m and 400m hurdles, and triple jump.
